Since that time she has been honored with more than 100 exhibitions throughout the world, including a solo show at the Organization of American States in Washington D.C. and the Museum of Modern Art of Latin America, and a special commission by the Metropolitan Opera to create a commemorative work for the opening of their 1987 opera season.
