A rare Louis XV style carved gilt wood and gesso table, the top with inset Austrian porcelain plaques; the central plaque depicting two maidens in a garden with cherubs, signed B Herb; surrounded by eleven smaller plaques of various women each titled, and signed Perkeo, surrounded by gilt metal frames; over a diapered apron supported by three cabriole legs with shell carved knees. The verso of the large plaque with marks for Franz Dorfl, Austria. 29"H x 21"Dia., Circa - 1900-1910.
