Rare 1876 United States Centennial Parade Flag, commemorating the centennial of the U. S., the numbers 1776 and 1876 each composed of five pointed stars, shrink wrapped, H.- 28 in., W.- 46 in.
Condition consistent with age and use. Considerable wear to fabric throughout flag, especially in lower right quadrant where many areas are threadbare. Small hole on left side of third red stripe from the bottom. White fabric has yellowed and red dye has bled into white throughout. Creases visible where flag has been folded, particularly along central horizontal and vertical axes. Red and blue fabric still vibrant. A unique piece of history.
