Taylor writes a letter of testimonial, ˜It gives me genuine pleasure to testify as to the general character of H. T. Scott who has been in the employ of my firm for the past 11 years. He has shown himself to be most sober, civil, and industrious, possessed of a sense of loyalty and devotion. He is a splendid workman in all the phases of the Golf Clubmakers art, thoroughly conscientious in all he undertakes”. Signed by Taylor at the foot, adding ˜Open Golf Champion 1894. 1895. 1900. 1909. 1913” beneath his signature. Some light creasing and minor age wear, about VG £200-300
