Gadd writes a letter of testimonial for his employee, Tom Scott, stating, in part, ˜He is a beautiful club maker, a good player who will improve vastly with the extra play and experience he would get as a professional and he is a first class coach. In that respect he is the most patient and thorough assistant I have ever had. He is absolutely steady and perfectly honest and in my opinion quite capable of taking on the post of professional to any club”.
