NORITAKE ROYAL MORIYE PORCELAIN VASE

The slightly tapering cylindrical vase having an aqua matte ground interspersed with four white reserves hand-painted with purple flowers, the reserves connected by areas of moss green matte ground; all framed by and decorated with a network of applied lace-like flowers, leaves, borders, and beads (moriage technique using liquified clay slip); with two applied handles and three curving leaf-like feet decorated in a similar fashion; a gray marker's mark in a square on underside.
