GEORGE III - a 22ct gold pair cased pocket watch by James Cox, London, with cylinder movement, seen with a white Roman dial, plain case and an inner cuvette with a period inscription dated 1786. Movement with Egyptian pillars, pierced balance cock and diamond end stone. Outer case diameter 50mm. Some dents to outer case. Note - Cox is mentioned in Britten's 7th Edition p.359 as a noted maker.
