Peter Brebant, London - an early silver cased Georgian pocket watch with quarter repeat mechanism, the case seen with pierced foliate decoration to bezel and case back, and the white Roman dial with beetle and poker hands. Verge movement with pierced Neo-Classical pattern balance cock, striking on a bell, and supported by Egyptian baluster pillars. Case diameter 57mm. Note - Peter Brebant is mentioned as a noted watchmaker in Britten's 7th Edition p. 341.
