A gentleman's early 20th Century continental open face silver pocket watch with chronograph function, reputed to have once been the property of Germany's Kaiser Wilhelm II, as an item from one of his Meteor racing yachts. The keyless lever watch with white Roman dial, twin registers and the case with engine-turned decoration, and the letter 'M' in a central panel to the reverse (for Meteor?) with crown above. Case diameter 52mm, bearing German/Prussian assay marks.
