Dr. Seuss. Green Eggs and Ham. First London edition, with an original sketch, laid-in, of a green egg, inscribed by the author, "A Green Egg / for you.. Gary! / from Dr. Seuss." Octavo. 62 pages. Publisher's pictorial paper boards. Original pictorial dust jacket. Noticeable rubbing to the board edges. Previous owner's signature and date to the front free endpaper. Vertical crease to the front flap of the dust jacket. Minor edge wear to the jacket. A lovely copy in very good condition. The original sketch by Dr. Seuss is on a green notecard measuring 3 x 6 inches.
