Description

An early 20th century Mississippi river pearl and diamond bar brooch. The baroque Mississippi river pearl, with old-cut diamond foliate surmount, to the spiral bar brooch. Length 3.6cms. Weight 3gms.

Condition

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Stamped 9c. The gem section is possibly replacement/reattached with discolouration to the reverse. The Mississippi river pearl is slightly loose. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.06ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
