A lady's mid 20th century diamond, sapphire and onyx watch. The silvered dial with Arabic numerals, to the onyx and diamond marquise-shape surround with black enamel terminals, suspended from a diamond, sapphire and onyx geometric brooch surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 1.10cts. Length 6cms. Weight 14gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The piece is a composite. The watch section was originally for a wrist watch. The watch movement is not original and the case does not quite close securely. The watch face is rectangular and does not cover the marquise-shape glass. The silvered dial is discoloured, there is wear to the gold plated numbers and hands. The enamel is significantly chipped. The onyx has some fine cracks and small chips. There is a partial winder to one side of the watch case. The sapphire cabochon is a medium pale blue with minor surface abrasions. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades.
