ANTIQUE FRENCH SILK TWO-PIECE GOWN. 4 ½” wide shoulder; 12 ½” length, 11” waist circumference. Navy, red and cream plaid silk jacket over ivory silk bodice with shirred front and smocking detail, short jacket with very full poufed and tapered sleeves, lace trim at jacket edge, neckline and sleeves, flared and gored skirt with demi-train, blue piping at hemline, back hook and eye closure, fully-lined. Commentary: Antique gown in very good condition.
