Da zdravstvuyet 10-aya godovshina Octyabrya [Long Live the Xth Anniversary of October Revolution], a poster by an anonymous artist with inscriptions predominantly in Chinese. Published by DalKraiONO (Public Education Department of the Far East Region), Vladivostok, 1927. 76.5 x 100.5 cm.
The poster was clearly intended to be distributed both in the Maritime Region, with its large ethnic Chinese population, and across the border. It paints a stark contrast between the happy peaceful life of Soviet citizenry and the turmoil in China, where Chiang Kai-shek had turned on his former Communist allies in April 1927.
