Early 18th C. Silver Tea Canister. A rectangular container with chamfered corners, has an octagonal neck and domical lid with finial and monogrammed on the front and on the neck. Signed with very early hallmarks: lion's head and seated lady for London, England, Sterling Silver - makers mark are the letters - Fa, in a heart - attributed to John Farnell and the date mark is attributed to the beginning of the 18th Century. Container is in very good condition, total weight: 6.6 oz - 4.5 in. high x 3 in. wide x 2 in. deep.
