Samuel Kirk Repousse Silver Covered Ewer, Baltimore, Maryland, 1830-46, cover with Chinaman rising out of the smooth surface, ewer decorated allover with repousse flowers, also with a central armorial flanked by two putti as well as two scenes of castles in a jungle; cover and base both marked "Sam L. Kirk, S.K., 11 oz," presentation inscription to base: "James H. Wilson, Presented by his affectionate Cousin Mrs. Priscella Locke," ht. 16 1/8 in., approx. 53 troy oz.
Condition: Cover with scattered abrasions to edges. Ewer in good overall condition with no dents or restorations.
