Enameled Automaton Alarm Clock, clock face encircled by light blue enamel with an eight-day movement and alarm, labeled "Swiss" and supported by two square columns; all on enameled base decorated with a Chinoiserie scene with gilt details and with slide-release to front to operate central bird automaton that sings, marked to back of clock face and underside "Swiss Made Depose" with impressed marker's mark "SH" and a shooting star, ht. 5 7/8, wd. 4 1/16, dp. 2 1/8 in., in a fitted case.
Condition: Enameling all good. Old restoration to enamel at base of one post. The clock appears to be overwound.
