Book of Hours, single leaf,

illuminated manuscript on vellum, in Latin, verso blank, 17 lines, written in black ink, 3 lines in red, 2 line initial in burnished gold, decorated in white and blue, bar border in gold, blue and white, ending with hair-line tracery and gilt leaves, gold and blue line-fillers, small holes in lower margin, some marking, in elaborate carved gilt wooden frame, glazed, becoming loose. 165 x 140 mm., France, fifteenth century.
