A GROUP OF THREE CHINESE PORCELAIN CONTAINERS

Each piece having polychrome decoration, the jar and bowl with a red reign mark stamped on the underside. The group consisting of: (1) a large famille rose baluster form jar with a domed lid, the body with six shaped cartouches depicting courtly women watering plants and admiring painted scrolls, all on a white ground filled with attributes of the Eight Immortals, with a carved wood stand; (2 ) a small famille rose style bowl with two large cartouches depicting interior court scenes, all on a white ground filled with flowers and butterflies; and (3) a shaped planter with a continuous scene of boys playing outdoors, with a conforming four-footed porcelain stand.
