(American 1853-1934) Milton, Massachusetts. The old windmill in Nantucket, 21" x 17" oil on canvas. Signed lower right "A. Poole" and dated "1882". A well listed Massachusetts painter, pupil of Tommaso, and T. Juglaris. Listed in Fieldings, Mallett, Who Was Who in American Art, Davenports, etc. Religned, Fine condition. A fine painting by a fine artist of the old windmill in Nantucket, Mass. built in 11774.
