Henry Bayley Snell (1858-1943) New Hope, Pa. 11" x 13" oil on canvas of schooner docked in harbor. Snell was a very well known impressionist painter and was associated with the New Hope Impressionist School. He painted harbor scenes of Gloucester, Mass. and Boothbay Harbor, Maine, where he co-founded a second art school in 1921. A very well listed artist. Paint flakes at bottom edge and lacking stretcher.
