Civil War photo album composed of 37 cdv's and one tintype for a total of 38 images. Album is inscribed "Newt's Album, Presented to him by H. H. Crapo" Crapo's identified cdv is also in the album. Twenty images have period identifications, mostly from Company C, 5th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry, one each from Companies B and E. There are 21 officer images and 15 enlisted men. Also included are two photo-litho cdv's of Lincoln and the Army/Navy leaders of the Civil War. Album pages are somewhat loose at the spine, but the book-style leather cover is in good condition. Nice Civil War album from Ohio unit assembled in the war-time period.
