A SET OF FOUR POLYCHROME TOLE AND FERRONIERE TWO SIDED WINDOW GUARDS
The four arched frames, most likely for Palladian style windows, are meant to be in a fixed position and feature polychromed embellishments on both sides of the iron strapwork. Each guard is composed of iron strap work, in an elaborate foliate manner and is clasped at significant junctures with gilded bands. The scrolling strapwork is adorned mid body with polychromed blossoms on both sides of the window guards supported by vertical grills.
