Description

Rifled musket. Marked "US Springfield". The stock has been cut back to 5" in front of the first band. 56" long. From the estate of Joan Rose. Previously owned by "Poppop" Nightingale, Montross, Virginia who possibly fought in the Battle of Fredericksburg, Civil War.
