PRESSED ACANTHUS LEAF STAND LAMP, translucent starch blue font, alabaster/clambroth base, overall sanded surface, dome-top font with 12 protruding petals below the shoulder and a short hexagonal extension with 12 beads below, joined by a wafer to a 12-petal-top acanthus leaf standard and double-step square base beaded between the steps, pewter collar. Fitted with a pewter and brass double-tube fluid burner with caps and chains. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Mid 19th century. 11 1/2" H to top of collar, 4" SQ base.

Font undamaged, top of stem with partial loss of one petal, one upper step corner with light polishing, underside of foot with a moderate shallow chip. Burner with engraved initials, one cap with a hole.
