ATTERBURY SWAN STAND LAMP, colorless embossed Swan font, lavender alabaster hexagonal base, underside of foot embossed "PATD, SEP 29D 1868.", screw socket connector with patent information, No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a No. 1 hinged lip burner, thumbwheel marked "PATENTED JAN 7. 1879.", and lip chimney with large petal top. Atterbury & Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 9 5/8" H to top of collar, 5 5/8" DOA base.

Font undamaged, foot with minor flakes and roughness and one corner with a small shallow flake. Burner undamaged, chimney with a minute fitter flake.
