RIPLEY'S WARRIOR / CONQUISTADOR STAND LAMP, colorless font with frosted panels and stem, deep amethyst hexagonal base, underside of base embossed "PATENTED MAY 16 1876", brass connector, period No. 2 collar with shoulder plate. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a Novelty No. 2 lip burner, shade ring, colorless, frosted and engraved ball-form shade with floral pattern, and lip chimney. Ripley & Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 12 5/8" H to top of collar, 6" DOA base. Shade 6" H, 4" D fitter.

Font and stem undamaged, foot with several minor flakes, underside with a small shallow chip and a light bruise. Burner with moderate corrosion, chimney with interior residue and shade undamaged.
