first edition, with additional plate of the head of a hare signed in pencil bound in opposite p.52 and A.L.s. from the author tipped in at end explaining that this plate is only included in this and the author's own copy, with his ink manuscript alterations and additions to text and initialled note on half-title, also sheet with signed manuscript poem by Fothergill tipped in at end, colour frontispiece, plates and illustrations by the author, some light foxing, bound in modern half green morocco, gilt, by Bayntun-Rivière, spine gilt in compartments with hunting motifs, t.e.g., [Loder 1577], 4to, 1926.
