Description

Egypt, Late Dynastic, 26th dynasty, ca 685 to 525 BC. Molded faience shabti holding crook and flail with seed bag over his shoulder. The color of faience is particularly pleasing in a deep, robin's egg blue. Stands upon old lucite block. Shabti itself stands 4-5/8"H.

Provenance: Ex-private Toronto, Ontario Collection.
