Bill Traylor. Horse. c. 1940-42. Paint pigment and graphite on cardstock. Their is a slight visible sketch of a second horse head. Colors are strong. No fading. Excellent condition. Card stock does show evidence of an early hanging with nails in each of the four corners. Note on verso. Image is 22” w x 14”h. Archival frame is 26” w x 19”h. Slotin Auction Favorite!
