Description

Southern Italy, Ca. 5th-4th Century BC. Bowl is composed with alternating painted orange bands and the natural color of the terracotta, both on the inside and outside of bowl. Rim of bowl is painted with four groupings of orange stripes. Two handles are attached below rim. Sits upon a small, footed base. 8-3/4" handlespan x 3-1/2"H.
