This is a set of dominoes designed by renowned artist Joan Miro. The images come from 7 drawings created in 1948-1950 originally done to illustrate a book of poems titled "Parler seul," by surrealist poet Tristan Tzara. This set was produced in 1958 in an unnumbered edition, of which 2000 are believed to have been made. * The images work beautifully on the dominoes, and their heiroglyphic-like pictures make for a challenging game. Each piece is blonde wood, 2 x 4 inches, with bright printed colors. They come in a box, with dominoes affixed to the sliding lid as decoration. This set comes complete, with the original yellow paper. It is in excellent condition. * * * These dominoes will be whimsical to display, or to play with.
