French bisque socket head on bisque shoulder plate with kid edging, cobalt blue glass eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig in ringlets, fully jointed wooden body, comes in her original box with the label "A La Poupee Nuremberg, 21 rue de Choiseul, Lavelle-Perrone", Madame Lavelle-Perrone created a 17" doll named Lily and in 1863 published La Poupee Modele with patterns for the Lily doll, the lot includes a wonderful period wardrobe created for her including wool bathing suit with matching belt and slippers, 3 piece gray and black outfit with bustle and black straw hat, chemise, petticoat, corset, red bustle, brown leather boots signed C.C., brown leather slip on shoes, hand stitched linen shoes with red feather stitching, paisley shawl with leather wrap, and an oilcloth belt with attached purse, lot comes with 100 patterns for the "Lily" doll (1863-1873) published by Francois Theimer, 17' t.
