Seth Thomas Eclipse Mantle Clock. 5 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals, brass bezel, spade hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement No. 5 7/8, signed – S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A. - has fancy lyre shaped plates, count wheel half hour strike mechanism, coiled gong and Eclipse pendulum bob. Walnut case has a pierce carved and arched crest with spherical beaded top and incised side corbels; reverse gilt decorated door glass. 24.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide.
