By Kimura Ryumin 1st, Tokyo, Mid 19th century. , Mid 19th century. The first, a marine ivory reticulated gourd, the veins etched onto the leaves and many of the tendrils intertwining, well-worn. Signed, Ryukei, apparently by the first Kimura. The second, an ivory manju, General Take-Uchi no Sukune holding Ojin. Signed Ryumin. illustrated by a drawing in the MCI at UL of page 678.
