This is a to-die-for Moser cup and saucer in cobalt blue glass. The cup and saucer is lavishly decorated – it is breathtakingly elegant and colorful! It has all over gold gilt and an elaborate amount of applied leaves and flowers with raised gold bead work. They are in very good condition with the exception of one minor flea bite to the cups rim - it is my opinion that the tiny flea bite could be gently polished out. The cup measures 2 3/8"h and the top opening is 3 ¼" in diameter. The saucer is 5 ½" in diameter. This same exact floral enameled pattern can be found on page 98 of Moser Artistic Glass Volume Two by Gary D. Baldwin. Circa 1880-1920.
