DESCRIPTION: Van cleef and Arpels 18k bird on lapis stone. Solid 18k sparrow bird mounted on a well carved and polished lapis lazuli stone. The bird doubles as a brooch and comes apart at the legs. When lifted off of the stone, the legs remain stationary while the body of the bird comes off to reveal double bar pins underneath. Features two cabochon ruby eyes. Wrapped around the base of the lapis stone is an 18k band which curls up the side. Stamped under each wing "18K" "1V8805" and V.C.A. One of a kind masterpiece
