An early 20th century diamond crescent brooch. The graduated old-cut diamond line, within an old-cut diamond border. With detachable brooch fitting and pendant suspension loop. Estimated total diamond weight 7cts, I-J colour, VS2-SI2 clarity. Length 4.4cms. Weight 18.2gms. With fitted case.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. The brooch has been rhodium plated. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
