These three antique trade cards all have images of African Americans as portrayed in the late 1800's or early 1900's. They are in good to very good condition, one with staing spotting as shown. * * * J & P. Coats Fast Black spool cotton, showing boy on a spool with crows. The slogan "We Never Fade!!" is accompanied by a rather disappointed looking sun. * Haas cattle remedy, showing a wild bucking horse, and one man holding up a box of Haas. * Van Stan's Stratena, the best cement in the world, portraying a silhouette of two black people stuck together. It also has the motto "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" which might date it from close to the Civil War.
