ALFRED JACOB MILLER (1810-1874) SHOSHONE INDIAN CARRYING HOME HIS BRIDE. Gouache on paper, initialed LR, unframed 6.5" x 6.5" *Condition: Overall condition is fair to good. Has been lightly adhered at the corners to a sheet. Left margin is slightly uneven, appears to have been slightly trimmed. Sustains evidence of mat burns from previous framing in the shape of an inverted "U", with each side measuring approximately 4.5". No evidence of foxing, creasing, tears or restoration.
