Description

Pre-Columbian, Mochica, North Coast Peru, ca. 100-400 CE. Miniature spear thrower sceptre, wood with hgh karat gold band & caps on either end, having a bird finial carved in white seashell with inlaid turquoise eyes. Custom stand. Piece itself measures 7"L.
