Pre-Columbian, from Northern Peru, Moche III, Ca 300 to 500 CE. A very fine pottery jar in the form of a seated male, shown wearing a bright, striped tunic, his face with stern expression and incised beard, turban wrapped about his head. 7"H x 5-1/2"W.
