Pre-Columbian, from north-central Peru, Ca 1450 to 1500 CE. Terracotta stirrup jar showing Chimu influence; in redware, form with temple-pattern and small nodes in a relief band in the center of the vase, small bird resting on the spout, much remains fo orignal black and tan paint. 7-1/2"H.
