Deke Slayton's Deep Blue-Colored Flightsuit This one-piece cotton garment has a front zipper and numerous zippered pockets and wrist/arm closures. This suit is covered in patches from both NASA and after Deke left NASA. Included are "ASTP" and "Tenth World Aerobatic Championships, Oshkosh, Wisc." (1980 ?) patches on the shoulders as well as a "Deke Slayton / NASA-JSC" silver Velcro/leather nametag on the chest alongside NASA meatball, "Eagle Driver", "Space Shuttle", SSI (Space Systems, Inc.) and Conestoga Space Services of America patches. Well worn and obviously a familiar, favorite garment of his. Don't let this one get away. Ex. The Deke Slayton Family collection.
