Prototype Shuttle Tile (6x6x1") An unusual tile that consists of an aluminum plate on which gray tile material has been applied. The plate has been marked with marker "SLA 561 Sprayed". ALSO included is a small 2x4" aluminum sandwich with tile material between two aluminum plates. There is a Japanese company sticker on one side and the other has a small piece of white paper scotch taped to it that reads "Alpolic (4mm) Al + PE + Al". An unusual pair. Ex. The Deke Slayton Family collection.
