An Iznik pottery dish with a sloping rim and deep cavetto standing on a wide recessed foot, the centre finely decorated with a floral spray composed of carnations, tulips and roses, the rim with alternating groups of two pointing tulips and a flowerhead, all painted in underglaze cobalt blue and green with sealing wax red or Armenian bole, 24.5cm diameter, 17th century.
