17th century alabaster crucifix,

Christ on cross flanked by moon and sun partially hidden by clouds, relief-carved alabaster with stippled and painted ground, Italian School, late 17th century, 10-1/2 x 6-1/2 in.; 18th century carved and gilt wood oval French-style frame with bow and bead decoration, 14-1/4 x 8 in. Cracks in alabaster (arm, cloud), grime, accretion; frame with large break, separations, loss to gilding and bow (with pieces present), later plywood back.
