An Egyptian Faience Striding Horus Amulet
Egypt, Ca. 26th Dynasty, Ca. 600 BCE. Faience figure depicting a young boy Horus in the royal striding pose. One hand is clenched in a fist on side, other is held beneath chin. Single “pony tail” of hair on side of hair, indicating youth and boyhood. 1-5/8”H x 7/8”L.
