Greece, Ca. 6th-4th Century BCE. Matching pair of silver spiral earrings with snake head finials. Solid cast, the earrings feature a curved form with a snake head on either side. Details of each head, including the eyes, mouth, and teeth are engraved. Cf. a very similar pair in Pierre Amandry, Collection Helene Stathatos. Les Bijoux antiques (Strasbourg, 1953), pl.
