Description
Screen used prop head from "The Most Dangerous Game", RKO, 1932. Appears in the trophy room of Count Zaroff (Leslie Banks). Plaster composition with painted detail. Mounted on a 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" wooden wall plaque, head measures 11" in height. FROM THE COLLECTION OF FORREST J ACKERMAN. CONDITION: Paint loss and minor chipping to nose, right ear, base of neck. Small chips and paint loss over entire head. NOTES: Produced concurrently with "King Kong" by Merian C. Cooper. Directed by Ernest Shoedsack.
